Single page presence: £79
Multi-page site (up to 5 pages), static html: £199

Database Driven / Dynamic Websites
Simpler database driven sites, (like gambiabirdguide.com) would cost in the region of £399. Up to 10 pages, static and dynamic which can include reviews, news, recipes, simple products page etc. Bespoke sites requiring more than ten pages or complex dynamic behaviours would need to be quoted for separately.
Domain Names
.co.uk - FREE with any web design package.com £20
.eu £70
For other domain extensions, please ask.
NB - Domain names are not purchased outright, they are leased from a domain registry - they can be acquired for 1 or 2 years, and must be renewed thereafter. If I acquire a domain as part of the web design process, it is registered in your name. This is an important point to make, as some designers will instead register them in their own names, meaning that effectively, you don't own your brand.
Web Hosting
For most smaller users, hosting costs around £30-50 a year. Free web hosts do exist, but often force you to display ads for their sites, or they have limited functionality (no database access, no dynamic services). More than anything else, paid hosting gives you security over your website - it can't be deleted at the whim of a free provider (who may very well go out of business, taking your website with them). Basically, it gives you more control.Graphics
